We can use several kinds of materials to produce jewelry boxes. Usually there are 3 options for the main structure materials, wood, plastic and cardboard. 

1. Wood 

Talking about wood material, there are two kinds of it. One is natural wood, as like oak, pine, black wood, peach, ...etc. Natural wood is complicated in craftsmanship and time consuming in producing, high demanding and cost in labor. We can also made the box in MDF board as main structure material, outside wrapping with wooden veneer, it can have same looking and effect as like those made with natural wood. Meanwhile, it can save much cost and time.

2. Plastic 

The components of the plastic box are mainly PPC, PVC, or PET/APET. Except PVC, the other two kinds of materials are ECO friendly and nontoxic. Plastic boxes are acceptable in price and can be luxury in design/style.

3. Card board

Cardboard material is quite normal materials in package, price is cheaper and also recyclable.

Except main structure material, outer wrapping materials we can choose paper, velvet, leather, fabric, and microfiber. Inner materials decoration we can consider velvet, paper card, foam, satin, microfiber, EVA and paper.
